Does KiloWise Fleet replace my Samsara or Geotab telematics?
No, and that is not the goal. KiloWise Fleet connects to Samsara, Geotab, Verizon Connect, Motive, Fleet Complete, Webfleet and Traccar by API. You keep your hardware and contracts; we add the missing financial layer: cost per kilometre, margin, and a per-vehicle decision. If you have no telematics yet, we also offer our own trackers.
What does it cost if I have 200 vehicles?
The software plan is flat, whatever the fleet size — unlimited vehicles. We share pricing on request, based on your needs: get in touch and we’ll propose the right plan. If you connect your own GPS provider, there is no supplement; a per-tracker supplement applies only if you use our KiloWise trackers.
What exactly is “margin per kilometre”?
We add everything the vehicle costs — fuel, servicing, repairs, financing, insurance, registration, depreciation, downtime — and divide by kilometres driven. Then we subtract that cost from the revenue the vehicle generates. The result is the one number that says whether a vehicle earns its keep.
Does my data stay in Canada?
Yes. The software runs on our servers and is built to Quebec’s Law 25: access logging, justified retention periods per category, and access and erasure rights available from within the app.
How long does it take to get started?
Import your vehicles by CSV and you have a dashboard the same day. Per-vehicle profitability becomes meaningful once you have entered a month of costs and kilometres.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes, iOS and Android, with camera access for vehicle photos and location access. The app also works offline for consultation.
Can I try before paying?
Yes. Request a demo: we can open an account with your own data if you wish, so you judge on your fleet rather than ours.
